Subject: Bradford C. T. xxx (DKW- or DKY- registered) Chassis: Sunbeam MF2 Body: East Lancs H35/28R Location: Thornbury depot Date: 1967
An unidentified "Jo'burg" awaits disposal at Thornbury depot. These could be readily identified from the rebodied AECs as they were on true 8 foot wide chassis and didn't overhang the rear axle as much. The side destination was also in a different position from those on Bradford's own Karriers that had been rebodied with rear-entrance bodies (where it was one bay further forward). That visual clue also shows that the unidentified vehicle cannot be 701, as that had the side destination TWO bays further forward due to a trial door arrangement. A final way to identify one of this batch from this angle was that access flaps were fitted in the first and third bays only.
