This electric loco for New South Wales Government Railways was at the beginning of its long journey from Stockton to Sydney and having come over Standedge is stopped briefly at Delph station, with the Station Master's house visible in the background. In the right distance (and the reason for including this photo in this collection) is one of Oldham's KBU-registered PD2s with Metro-Cammell bodies in its original livery, working a 13 to Uppermill.
