In the early days of WYPTE some rationalisation of vehicles took place to move types that were non-standard in one district to one where they were more common. Calderdale JOC bought three Seddon RUs with Plaxton bodies and these were very quickly moved to Huddersfield under that policy, as Huddersfield had a larger fleet of Seddons. This one, formerly Calderdale 317, is seen on 2nd April 1978 renumbered as 3317 in the Calderdale series, but originally ran carrying the number 4007 in the Huddersfield series. It is on Oldham Road in Grasscroft.
