By the time this photograph was taken these Metrobuses, which had been such a stalwart of the main Saddleworth services for many years, were being withdrawn and were rarely seen in Saddleworth. It was particularly surprising to find 30288 (formerly 5305) working well into the evening as there would be no shortage of buses at that time. It is seen laying over in the old Uppermill bus station on 29th April 2005.
