Whilst Huddersfield used Alexander Royale-bodied Olympians on the through service quite a lot at first, they were only around for about eighteen months. Therefore this appearance of 30824 was rather surprising, with the "Holmfirth Connection" branding indicating on which services it was intended to be used. Paul Wreghitt was lucky enough to catch it at Failsworth Pole whilst trying out a new camera.
