Apologies for the quality but this is a negative I rejected at the time I took it as it was fogged and there was reflection off the front of the bus, but I realised that it showed an unusual appearance of one of the ex-Salford 1966 PD2s in Saddleworth, presumably working from Hyde Road. By chance it is the now-preserved Salford 254.
The photograph also shows more of the garage at the Farrar’s Arms junction than any other photo in the gallery, with a Shell Leyland Octopus delivering. At the time the garage was in the name of Furness and Holmes.
