769 in a classic pose at the Thornton Road departure stand for the Clayton service. Largely obscured by the bus is the New Inn whilst at the extreme left a Brush-bodied Daimler CVD6 can just be seen pulling out of Town Hall Street.

769 has retained its original Notts & Derby destination layout, adapted to suit Bradford's needs by masking. However, like several of the batch, it was later rebuilt with a standard Bradford display.
