One of the first Oldham Atlanteans to be painted orange, 5154 is in a location that is now barely recognisable, the roundabout on Manchester Street being quite new and the flyover for the extension of the by-pass some years into the future.
The mill in the background is Summervale Mill, which was demolished in 1972. The name lives on in Summervale House, one of the tower blocks on the site.
