4053 and 1453 are actually slightly off-route as they are on Schloßallee. The service is planned such that one tram goes into Rudolfsheim depot after the morning peak and returns in the early afternoon, as seen here, at least on school days. This planned exchange of vehicles between depots allows the movement of vehicles for maintenance with a minimum of dead mileage.
