This was the first of a block of five consecutively-registered coaches for Eatonways. All had Burlingham bodies but this was the only AEC Regal, there was also a Leyland Comet and three Leyland Tigers. All five entered service in March 1950.

This vehicle later passed to Strain, Redditch who traded as Royal Motorways.
