A mouth-watering array of almost-finished vehicles in the factory. On the right hand side are four Ribble “White Ladies” on Leyland Titan PD1/3 chassis.

At the front of the next row is GSC 240 - AEC Regal III 6821A O682352 with B35F body number 3848 new to SMT as their B352 in October 1948. Behind is another of the same batch.

At the front of the next row is Salopia 55 (EUJ 637), a Crossley SD42/3 97363 with B35F body new in November 1948.

Third in that row is a Western SMT Leyland Tiger PS1/1. Alongside it on the left is a Crossley single-deck bus and readily visible behind that due to the gap is what I believe is the Daimler CVD6 for Kitchin, Pudsey seen elsewhere in this collection, HWT 48.
