Silverline won tenders for services from Brecon to Merthyr and Swansea following deregulation and made use of the car park at Bishop's Meadow for vehicle stabling as Stagecoach also did for many years.

This Dart entered the fleet in 1994 to provide greater capacity compared to the CityPacers that had been originally used. It passed to Rhondda Buses as their 60 in early 1997.
