753 is seen from upstairs on a trolleybus for Thornton, arriving in the city from Clayton. The vantage point provides a good view of the overhead with the wiring used by the Clayton and Thornton trolleybuses merging not too far ahead.

The buildings to the right, including the charmingly-named Woolstaplers Inn selling Bentley's Yorkshire Beers, are now all demolished. A woolstapler was a wool merchant.
