Several Bristol REs saw out their last days at Porth depot, surprisingly given that they were a type not traditionally based there. RD1138 has not got long to go in this view but would still have provided a comfortable trip on the 522, for so long one of Rhondda's principal services.

Behind is Plaxton-bodied RELH6L RD1125 (NAX 3M) which has clearly been recently-transferred from an Eastern area depot as shown by the Red & White fleet names which were later replaced by National Welsh ones.
