Taff-Ely’s last bus was this solitary Leyland Swift, seen here working the 1105 journey from Caerphilly back to Pontypridd. It only spent a short time with Taff-Ely as council bus operations ceased just over two weeks after this picture.
It passed to National Welsh but wasn’t used but instead went first to Jersey. Later coming back to the area working for a couple of Merthyr operators it then returned to the Channel Islands, but this time to Guernsey.
