Subject: Taff-Ely BC 7 (UTG 312G)
Chassis: AEC Regent V 2MD3RA
Body: Willowbrook H34/26F
Location: Cilfynydd, Cilfynydd Road
Date: 14-Oct-1982

This photograph I find very reminiscent of a lot of Bob Mack’s more rural shots, as he would use the place name sign as a means of highlighting the location - and it often seemed to be this style of sign.

7 is going back towards Pontypridd from Cilfynydd. Assuming it was a normal working there on the outbound journey it would have turned right up the hill partially hidden by the bus which is Bedw Road.

The destination is an unusual one, not recorded anywhere else in this gallery. Llanberis Close is a residential cul-de-sac in Church Village and presumably was the destination for a working from a school serving that area.
