Two of these Mercedes (G142/143 GOL) were on loan from Stevenson's to Rhondda Buses to assist with a pre-Christmas park and ride contract in Pontypridd in 1993.
G143 GOL had been with the Transcity fleet and was then taken over by Kentish Bus, with whom it was briefly numbered 897 prior to becoming Stevenson's 235, although at this stage it doesn't carry Stevenson's number.
