The advert on the side is unusual, with Theophilus being of religious derivation but it may have been the Christian name of the founder of the company. An advert in the local guide suggested you "Let Theophilus be your guide" and as well as the locations shown on the advert on the bus they also had stores in Blackwood, Bridgend and Llanelli.
