The second double-decker supplied in 1931 was this Leyland Titan TD1 with Leyland's own bodywork and seen here close to the works in a location used for many official photographs. 79 probably has the most prominent legal lettering ever seen!
It survived until after the war, the only Leyland Titan ever owned by Rhondda Transport. It 1946 it was withdrawn and converted to a lorry, remaining with Rhondda until 1953.
