New as Rhondda 32, BTX 291 was the last of a batch of twelve new in 1937, all being fitted with 9.6 litre engines in 1948. Despite this 32 was withdrawn in 1949 and after passing through Don Everall (dealer) of Wolverhampton it was noted running for Jones, Kenfig Hill by August 1952.
Jones traded as Greenline but this bus was destined not to run for them for long, as they sold out to Western Welsh in April 1953.
