The building for the Pontypridd Museum (formerly the Tabernacl Chapel) has seen all of Pontypridd's trams, trolleybuses and buses over the years and is witnessing a new addition in the form of Rhondda 86 which only entered service that month.
The Mini on the right dates from around 1980, the year its replacement (the Austin Metro) was launched. However, it was to be another twenty years before Mini production finally ceased.
