For a period before the opening of the Oldham Town Centre route, trams on driver training ran through the town centre and reversed at Mumps. This could give the impression of a tramway junction which felt very strange. Here 3020 is at the rear of a double working to East Didsbury whilst 3075 is actually a spare vehicle for the driver training programme.
