Western Welsh Tiger Cub 1382 started off as a dual-purpose vehicle and was intially renumbered UD566, later UD4866 before being downgraded in Nov-1976 to a service bus as U4866.
Here it is returning from Fernhill Colliery after taking miners to work the afternoon shift and has turned from Blaenrhondda onto St. Alban's Bridge.
This vehicle did not have moulding applied for the white waistband when it was painted in bus livery, unlike most vehicles. It has also lost some of the polished trim across the front giving a more similar appearance to the bus versions.
