This vehicle was numerically the first of Western Welsh's large mid-1960s intake of Tiger Cubs with this style of body, although it wasn't the first in service - for some reason the last six of the batch entered service first.
It has migrated to Porth depot for its last year or two in service - it was withdrawn in 1978 and went for scrap.
Comparison with the former Rhondda examples with Marshall bodies to the right shows that there was very little difference in the bodies from different manufacturers. The most obvious difference is the destination display but that was the original operator's specification.
