Subject: Western Welsh 1334 (DBO 334C) Chassis: Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/11 Body: Park Royal DP41F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: 7–Jun-1967
Bridgend depot has turned out dual-purpose Tiger Cub 1334 on the 226, resplendent in the attractive ivory and blue livery. The service was normally allocated a dual-purpose vehicle at this time.
Rhondda had recently ceased operating the service and stand C12 from which it departed was not very busy with just six departures a day on the 226 (there were seven arrivals on Saturdays) along with the other service sharing the stand, the 338 to Llanbethery with a single daily departure.
