Noticeable in photographs of Western Welsh vehicles from the early 1960s is the lack of allocation diamonds. 1260 is seen without here leaving Pontypridd for Porthcawl in 1961.

This bus gave good service to Western Welsh, having been new in 1959 it was not withdrawn until 1975, by which time it had been given the number U4259.
