428 has returned from working at Barry a little battered, if comparison with sister 433 to the left is anything to go by. It's still showing the route number in Barry seen on its photograph when working there. However, its time with Western Welsh is over and with fleet name and legal lettering painted out, it is parked at the top of the depot site in Porth ready for sale. It passed via North's to Williamson, Gauldry but an accident saw it return to North's with the chassis then suffering an unusual fate as a farm platform.
