After sale by Western Welsh this bus ran for Hornsby of Ashby before passing to Charlton-on-Otmoor Services. As the two liveries were similar it ran in Hornsby livery for some time before being painted in its new owner's colours in the very late 1970s.
The rather nice shelter and bus stop have since gone, swept away as a result of redevelopment which has resulted in an access road to some new houses taking their place.
