Fleet No: 13xx Registration No: ONE 7xx Chassis: BUT 9612T Chassis No: 9612T.xxx Electrical equipment: Metropolitan-Vickers non-regenerative Motor: MV209AYG10 95HP Body: Burlingham H32/28R New: 1955/56 Withdrawn: Dec-1966 Location: Ancoats, Great Ancoats Street Date: 30-Dec-1966
Additional information: In this location the wires were only used for normal service in the direction shown, although the 213 service had once passed this way in both directions. The trolleybus is passing the site of one of at least three places where industrial railways crossed the trolleybus network on the level. Here the tracks led into a one-time grain store through the door into the rebuilt gable end.
It is possible that the siding was shut before trolleybus operation started, but the other crossings on Rochdale Road and Ashton Old Road outlived the trolleybuses.
