561 was the first of what would prove to be the last batch of single-deck trolleybuses for Bradford (although the last trolleybuses to enter service in Bradford had originally been single-deckers). This final batch, still based on the Leyland LSC1 chassis, differed from the earlier ones in having a front entrance.
