Parked up at its new home, 255 had not long been transferred to Parfitt's when this photograph was taken. The bus behind it can be identified as 257 (L839 MWT) which had lost a nearside ventilator. The pair from Darlington can be identified from the marker light above the windscreen, not fitted to all these long Metroriders in any case but located on the cream on this pair unlike 255 in front.
