49 was another 1967 withdrawal, displaced by Reliances 97/8. As can be seen, it retained the original shape of destination box until the end, but had the windows rebuilt by the Council in 1959. The style of window rebuild is different from that on sister vehicle 51, which is to the right and was rebuilt by Longwell Green.
