Subject: Rhondda Buses 428 (NWO 462R) Chassis: Leyland National 11351A/1R Body: Leyland National DP48F Location: Caerphilly bus station Date: Feb-1994
Rhondda 428 carries the Rhondda Buses style of this livery, which unlike National Welsh's version had maroon window surrounds. It had previously also carried that earlier style of livery which featured larger Rhondda fleet names, those at the side being at roof level in a forward position.
As can be seen in the background, the Caerphilly Busways name and livery was very much in use by this date. Although this is clearly working from Bedwas depot it was never repainted in that scheme.
