My first encounter with the Yelloway operation, on 17th November 1986, was with this Leyland Atlantean which started life with Sheffield Corporation. I didn't really know what to expect - the operation had only been running about three weeks and news didn't get about so fast in those pre-internet days. I certainly hadn't expected double-deckers, although as this collection shows they ceased to be the norm quite soon.
