From 1972 the timetables followed a house NBC style as seen here. The Rhondda Transport name had disappeared by this stage and Western Welsh was becoming closely aligned to Red & White, hence the use of the two names on the cover.

This timetable was slimmer than previous issues as the former Rhondda Transport practice of listing the stopping places of each service ceased. This had never been extended to the other services in the timetable.
