Local authority vehicles were never a common sight at the band contests, making Chesterfield 197 (C712 LWE) quite unusual. Chesterfield Transport had acquired the business of White's of Calver, although it was maintained with a separate identity. In the inherited fleet was this Bedford YNT with Plaxton body that was new to Bull of Tideswell. It is parked on Kinders Lane on 27th May 1994 whilst the band (from Glossopdale Community College) performs its contest march.
