UC170 has made a refreshment stop at Carmarthen on the 632, which went from Newport through Caerphilly. Aberdare and Neath on its way to Tenby. It is in its last season working for Jones and in November that year it was downgraded and renumbered UD170 prior to transferring to National Welsh on 1st January 1981.

Reflected in the windows is one of the two former Brighton PD2s operated by Eynon of Trimsaran.
