Rhondda 324, as Western Welsh 2324, had already received an ivory and blue livery in late 1971, then on transfer to Jones of Aberbeeg it received this fairly similar and rare NBC white and blue local coach livery along with another fleet number UC170J.

It lasted in this unusual and pleasant livery until 1975, by which time it had also been renumbered plain UC170.
