For its last few weeks of service this bus received the short-lived HHR prefix to its fleet number, used to indicate full-height double-deckers. In the renumbering in early 1983 it was decided to use the prefix XR instead. This bus was allocated number XR1992 in that scheme but was withdrawn before it was implemented.
