1961 was the first season of the service to Tenby and it that year it started from Pontypridd. In subsequent years it was extended first to Caerphilly and then Trethomas.

It seems that it had a longer season in 1961, as certainly by 1964 it only ran until early September. 358 has been caught here at the refreshment stop in Carmarthen. Next to it is a Bedford OB with Beadle body belonging to Jones of Newchurch. It had earlier been with Morrison of Tenby.
