In 1970 Trundley's bought this new AEC Reliance with Plaxton Panorama Elite bodywork. Registered WBU 706H it was supplied through the dealers Lancashire Motor Traders - one of a block of registrations which also featured Bristol LHs for Stott's and a Bedford VAM for Barron's in Chadderton.

This view dates from 24th September 1977 and shows the coach at its depot, which was in Greenfield, although I'm not sure how long it had been based here as I had just discovered where it was kept! The location is of interest as the building partially visible on the right is what was Wellington Garage, home of earlier coach operator Tom Shaw. It was later the Saddleworth UDC depot and home to a vehicle restoration company.

The garage for WBU 706H itself is now the site of Bryn Hilton Motor Engineering, although not the same building.
