After the arrival of the first heavyweight coach in the Ken Shaw fleet, in the following year (1973) a second arrived in the form of this Volvo B58 with Plaxton C53F body. At this stage Volvos were quite unusual, in contrast to later years where they have at times been the predominant bus chassis operating in Saddleworth.
XWX 797L is seen in the Yelloway coach station in Oldham and was on hire to Yelloway for a trip to Torquay.
