For this next photograph Blackpool comes to Ken Shaw's! Former Blackpool C. T. PD2 319 (NFV 319) had only recently come to Ken Shaw's on 1st August 1971 when this picture was taken in the garage yard at Tame Water, Dobcross.

The nearside view shows how time was saved on the repaint due to the fortuitous coincidence of the name of the advertiser in Blackpool with the name of the new operator. To the right is the rear of the Bedford SB5 that originated with Wilkinson of Sedgefield. For some time this carried the name "Road Liner" over the rear registration plate, a Wilkinson's tradition. As can be seen, it was eventually replaced by Ken Shaw's own name.
