Subject: Darlington C. T. 68 (LHN 780) Chassis: BUT 9611T Body: East Lancs H30/26R Location: Darlington, Prebend Row Date: c.1949
68 is seen during its short time in Darlington heading for Park Lane along Prebend Row. The confusing thing about this street is that each side has a different name such that the buildings in the background are on High Row. This arises due to the two sides being on different levels and effectively two parallel streets. From 1904 for some years it was actually laid out as three levels.
This bus was the one member of the batch that did not enter service in Bradford, instead being dismantled to yield a spare EE410 motor.
