Subject: Rhondda 445 (445 GTX) Chassis: AEC Regent V 2D3RA Body: Metro-Cammell H39/31F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: 7-Jun-1967
445 is making an appearance on the Pontypridd service whilst sister vehicle 453 is on the usual run to Treorchy.
445 was involved in a rather serious accident here in Cardiff bus station on 15-Dec-1965 which resulted in it colliding with the office and canopy at the entrance to the bus station. The consequences are visible with the front panel around the destination indicator being split into three. The glass has larger radius corners which affects the appearance. The front dome also seems to have been damaged and there are mouldings above the windows and between the front windows.
