Subject: Shamrock AYR 348T
Chassis: Leyland National 10351A/2R
Body: Leyland National B44F
Location: Abercynon depot
Date: late-1990s

Rhondda 483 was sold to Thomas Motors of Barry in April 1995 and was the last vehicle to enter service in that fleet before the takeover by Shamrock in January 1996. Here it is seen after withdrawal, stripped for spares at the Shamrock depot on the Pontcynon Industrial Estate, still carying its Caerphilly Busways livery.

As Milhouse in the Simpsons once said, "This bus has seen better days"!
