Subject: Rhondda Buses 74 (M74 HHB)
Chassis: Volvo B6-41
Body: Plaxton Pointer B35F
Location: Caerphilly, Castle Street
Date: 15–Sep-1995

74 is working the route to Senghenydd via Trecynydd which was one of Rhymney Valley's busier routes and a regular haunt of the PD3s in their later years. By the time of this photograph a more frequent service of smaller buses is the order of the day - there were five buses an hour to Senghenydd which also served some additional places.

74 is a bus that migrated north, first to Chorley and later to Cumbria, running latterly as 30724.
