Subject: Rhondda Buses 76 (M76 HHB)
Chassis: Volvo B6-41
Body: Plaxton Pointer B35F
Location: Caerphilly, Castle Street
Date: 25–Jan-1997

76 stops to unload quite a few passengers outside the new shopping centre which in this view clearly reveals its Welsh name Cwrt Y Castell.

76 was the second of the batch (along with 74) to travel widely in Stagecoach ownership. It became 324 with what was left of Ribble when in Stagecoach ownership and then moved into the former Cumberland area, carrying national number 30726. Stagecoach were more thorough and logical than First when they renumbered their fleet. The various members of the batch had acquired local numbers but were put back in a small block corresponding to their original numbers at the renumbering.
