On 5th April 1943 members of the Saddleworth Hunt gather for a photograph on the hill outside Greenfield station. This fascinating shot has caught one of North Western's Bristol K5Gs with original ECW body waiting above the crowd, although it's unlikely that in wartime much other traffic was delayed. The shop building on the right is long gone.
