In July 1994 Metrobus 5314 has called into the small bus station on Lever Street as the 180 did for some years on the outbound journey. The Royal Mail sorting office behind is already up for sale - I remember well the what seemed to be interminable construction of the building in the late 'sixties when I used to catch the bus home from school from here.
